WHO WE ARE
Save The Heart is a youth-run initiative driving society toward a change in cardiovascular health. With the ever-increasing rise in heart and stroke disease throughout the world and in the local community, the problem necessitates action. We are a team of high school students from Ontario working in cooperation with our HOSA chapter to raise awareness about diseases, prevention, inequality and mortality. Our team consists of four Grade 11 students, our names are Kurinche Thiyagarajah, Kumanan Thiyagarajah, Sasvat Patel, and Anuj Yeole.
We have partnered with several community groups and organizations to create change, starting in Ontario. Apart from attending several pop-up markets in which we sold necklaces and baked goods to raise money, we have hosted a cooking workshop, designed online learning activities, partnered with local high schools and have much more to come!
